The House

In the fall of 2013 the Kappa Chapter of Alpha Gamma Rho made its new home at the intersection of Holdrege and Idylwild Drive in Lincoln, Nebraska.

The Kappa Foundation board along with the assistance of WRK Real Estate and the Sinclair-Hille architectural firm worked together to design the new house to accommodate the 75 members of AGR with possibilities of expansion, if needed, in the future.

As one of the leading fraternities on the University of Nebraska-Lincoln campus, the new house eliminates many of the shortcomings of the former AGR house. The design of the house accents the architectural style of East Campus and is fitted with state-of-the-art amenities throughout the house.

The new house positions the brothers of AGR to be the leaders of today and future leaders of tomorrow.

Cindra “Cindy” Brandl

Cindy Brandl has been the house mother at the AGR Kappa Chapter since August 2007. She was raised in Lenox, Iowa and went on to attended Peru State College where she graduated with two majors – Family Home and Consumer Economics and Social Work.

Since moving to Lincoln in 1977, Cindy has become a self-proclaimed Husker lover. She enjoys interacting with the AGR gentlemen and looks forward to seeing the impact they have on communities across the country.

Membership Development

Membership development is something that the Alpha Gamma Rho Kappa Chapter takes great pride in, but our commitment to brotherhood and professional development stems from our desire for excellence.

We strive to develop these skills through house activities, intramural sports and campus involvement. We have active members in Mortar Board, the College of Ag Advisory Board, student government, Engler Club and many other groups on campus.
