“To make better men, and through them a broader and better agriculture by surrounding our members with influences tending to encourage individual endeavor, resourcefulness, and aggressive effort along lines making for the development of better mental, social, moral, and physical qualities; to promote a wider acquaintance and a broader outlook on the part of agricultural men through fellowship in a national organization that stands for the best social, mental and moral development.”
The Purpose
The Promise
Alpha Gamma Rho is the fraternity sharing a common bond within a dynamic, global agriculture committed to fostering the highest values and providing each and every brother with superior lifelong personal development and professional success.
It’s a tough world out there, but thousands of AGR members worldwide are there to help you succeed. From secretaries of agriculture, to top management, to presidents of food companies and thousands of farmers and ranchers – AGR alumni are a “who’s who” in worldwide agriculture.
Hello and welcome to Alpha Gamma Rho-Kappa Chapter’s website!
We hope that this website gives you a better understanding of what Kappa Chapter is about and what life in the house consists of. Kappa Chapter focuses on achieving professional excellence and preparing our members for careers after graduation. Our Recruitment Chairs and members are driven to find quality men that will fulfill and uphold AGR’s promises and values. Our national motto is to “Make Better Men” and by being involved in campus organizations through leadership roles, providing service to our community, and having a passion for agriculture, we accomplish that. We hold ourselves to a higher standard on how we present ourselves in classes and take pride of the letters we wear on our chest.
Kappa Chapter has a tremendous brotherhood program. We are continuously striving to encourage our brothers to get involved in activities together, create relationships that last a lifetime, and achieve academic excellence.
Alpha Gamma Rho isn’t something that ends after you graduate college, it is something that lasts a lifetime. The brothers you learn and grow with are gentlemen that you can count on every day for the rest of your life. It is a great feeling and opportunity to grow with your colleagues who will be leaders in agriculture and making a difference in rural America!
Best Regards,
