    Office Descriptions


     

    The Noble Ruler presides over meetings and oversees all other executive officers.

     

    The VNR-Social chairs arrange dinner exchanges and social events.

     

    VNR-Alumni Relations corresponds with Kappa Chapter alumni and National Headquarters.  He is also in charge of Pink Rose and Fall/Spring Parent’s Days.

     

    VNR-Finance is Responsible for handling all of the house finances including paying bills, managing member accounts, and managing budgets/reports.

     

    VNR-Operations organizes a work schedule for house cleaning and daily duties while also arranging/managing house improvement projects and overseeing the general operations of the house.

     

    VNR-Planning records minutes at each meeting, updates bi-laws, and corresponds with other chapters and National Headquarters.

     

    The VNR-Recruitment chairs are responsible for planning a rush program within the boundaries of their budget in order to recruit the top agriculture students attending the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

     

    VNR-Membership Development/Activities organizes events that encourage brotherhood and organizes the semesterly Brotherhood Reviews.

     

    VNR-New Member Education is in charge of organizing the welcoming of all new members of AGR while also helping the members get to know their brothers in the house.

     

    VNR-Scholarship enforces study hours, organizes house scholarships, and continually helps the members stay accountable in their scholarly duties.

     

    VNR-Philanthropy plans fundraising events for both the fall and spring semesters including the annual Hog Roast (spring) and Barn Party (fall).

     

    The First Vice Noble Rulers fills in for the Noble Ruler in the case of the Noble Ruler’s absence.
