Bryan Terrell Scholarship
This scholarship has been set up to honor Bryan Terrell. Bryan didn't view grades as a priority when he arrived on campus. However, after a conversation with his Big Brother, Bryan won the Big Brother/Little Brother Scholarship for High Combined GPA as a freshman and was active as the house Historian for three years, winning national recognition. The Bryan Terrell Scholarship is awarded to the Big Brother who had an outstanding impact on his Little Brother.
Outstanding Man of Agriculture
Matt Lamb
Matt grew up on a family farm near Syracuse Nebraska. He attended the University of Nebraska at Lincoln and was recruited to Alpha Gamma Rho in the summer of 1993. He graduated from UNL in 1997 with a degree in the Business option of Mechanized Systems Management. With his time at AGR he served as the K-Chief, VNR Recruitment, and VNR Activities. He then went on to work for John Deere Corporate in Moline Illinois for 5 years. Later he moved to Wisconsin and invested in 9 John Deere Dealerships in Northwest Wisconsin, and became the general manager of one of the nine dealerships. In 2007 Matt moved back to Nebraska and he became the General Manager of Platte Valley Equipment Company in Fremont. And he is currently the manager of the Fremont dealership.
Lifelong Contributions to Alpha Gamma Rho
Mom Kay Lynn Kalkowski
The Lifelong Contributions to Alpha Gamma Rho Award is given to an individual who has dedicated their time and effort to the Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity. This years recipient is Mrs. Kay Lynn Kalkowski. Kay Lynn, taught English and Vocal Music in Bassett at Rock County High School and she still stays in touch with her students to the day. In the summer of 1993 she choose to become a housemother for Alpha Gamma Rho and served as our housemom for 14 years. With her time at the Alpha Gamma Rho house she was able to be an influence in a new era of our fraternity. She was even able to find time to earn a doctoral degree in leadership studies from UNL while being a housemother. She has also been involved with the state FFA convention year in and year out. She still maintains strong relationships with all of her students and her boys of AGR.

Ryan is currently serving as an Advisor for the Chapter and he has played an active role in the new housing project and keeping the undergraduates informed with the decisions of the Alumni Board, and plays an active role in keeping the house functioning smoothly.
